At Military.com, my team and I got to design new UX features, UI assets, and marketing for the Military Pay App. The app is essentially a calculator that allows military personnel to view their proposed income based on skills and attributes that they add. It also features useful resources and articles related to money.

The calculator flow allows the user to add / select options in three categories - Basic Pay, Allowances, & Special Pay. The app then shows the resulting pay amount. It's a huge time saver that helps service people quickly make decisions on what skills, qualifications, and actions they want to take on, related to income the may earn.
The app also provides informative news and evergreen articles pertaining to career goals, retirement benefits, taxes and much more.
